Can the Rabbitohs get on a roll or not?
They won three in a row early in the season - against the Sharks, Bulldogs and Knights - but have recently been unable to put back-to-back wins . In their last six games they have gone loss-win-loss-win-loss-win. Overall, they have a win-loss record of 6-5, and that's good enough to have them in fifth position. But at the middle section of the competition is tightly packed, and if the Rabbitohs are going to break free and make a real run at a top-four spot they have to become more consistent.

This is a great opportunity for the Rabbitohs to get back their form back, playing at home against a Cowboys outfit that has been disappointing this season. The Cowboys have just three wins and eight losses, and an away record of 1-4. Their only away win was against a Roosters outfit that did not have halfback Mitchell Pearce available to steer them around. The Cowboys have had some good news leading into this game, with superstar halfback Johnathan Thurston avoiding suspension by beating a charge at a judiciary hearing, but they need to improve right across the board.
